Catholic Online (www.catholic.org)  The North Anna generating facility. VIRGINIA NORTH, VA (Catholic Online) - One of the reactors at the North Anna generating facility has been shut down after operators noticed a seal on a coolant pump was degrading.
The reactor was shut down on Sunday night and operators are replacing the seal. They have also elected to replace a seal on a second pump as a means of being proactive. They say the process will probably take several days.
